Shipping Information
Postage is currently being offered within Australia and internationally, considering current postage restrictions.
Items sent from Tasmania must travel interstate before departing Australia. This can be factored in by adding 3 business days for Express items and 7 business days for Standard and Economy items. Delivery times may vary due to COVID-19 postage delays, these delays are outside my control and I am unable to guarantee postage by a certain time.

Following a drop, all items will be packed and posted within 7 days. I will always aim to pack and post sooner than this however due to my working hours it won’t always be possible to get to the post office until the following weekend.
This material is fragile, we do our utmost to safely pack all items in layers of protective packaging.
Unfortunately, accidents happen and I do not take responsibility for items that are broken during transit.

This will remain the case until COVID-19 boarder restrictions are lifted and more services resume business as usual.

Please note: Postage costs will increase for larger items that weigh in excess of 5kg. Parcels sent that weigh over 5kg are charged according to their physical weight or cubic weight equivalent, whichever is greater. If your order weighs over 5kg, I will contact you directly to discuss additional shipping costs after I have received and reviewed your order.

European deliveries: All European deliveries are subject to VAT charges. These need to be paid locally before your parcel is released for delivery. Dark South Designs does not offer the option to pre-pay these and is not responsible for these charges in any way.
United Kingdom deliveries: If you place an order and live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Island I will contact you directly to arrange payment of VAT charges through a separate method. If you do not respond within 2 days, I will refund your order and the item/s will be relisted.
